To support such a diverse population Kairros has developed a unique service model that embraces diversity to help clients with injuries who come from CALD backgrounds.

Our team of experienced Rehabilitation Consultants are also incredibly diverse with 45% of our consultants speaking another language other than English fluently and 46% of our team were born overseas, therefore having a lived experience in migration and settlement.

Innovative technology to reduce the requirement of an interpreter which increases the trust and rapport built between the client and Kairros

Visa Portal to provide direct access to visa factors which may affect employment opportunities

Education Packs in the client’s first language to aid in understanding of their injury and insurance systems

Strong connections with local employers providing onsite workplace safety education and workplace culture procedures during a work trial

Social integration plan developed after assessment to focus on building the client’s social network, leisure pathways and increasing their capabilities

Database of cultural resources and support facilities in local communities to enhance a holistic return to wellbeing for the client

Research shows that CALD communities face significant disparities in health outcomes across Australia and have unique and differing needs. Useful and effective solutions to this ongoing and increasing challenge also need to be tailored to individual communities. Kairros Interpreting Service (KIS)

We know the language barrier can act as a road block for successful client outcomes, so our inhouse interpreting service is available to all our clients to support them in their recovery journey.
